Now many people smile as bifocal contact come in bifocal contact lens, bifocal contact lens are available in soft, rigid and RGP (gas permeable materials). For those who were suffering both nearsightedness and farsightedness that had related lens with a line across them, before that, bifocals could only in eyeglasses. That eyeglasses heavy and the generally were said that frames for the glasses was unattractive and least. Most bifocal contact lens is made with concentric design lens.  The inner lens work either the near vision or far vision. One adjustment is in the lens middle and another is outside of the lens. The lens sound like hard to insert into your eye, but most of the wearer find that they eye will adjust at the end of the day.

Various type of bifocal contact lens is available in market. You may confused and hard to decide which brand is working for you. You may consider like composition, substitution and wear ability.   If based on the bifocal contact lens nature there two in categories namely soft and rigid gas permeable.  The soft lens is work well comfortable for you eye as its contain about 25% to 80% water but generally is durable. For rigid gas permeable lens offer clear visual to those wearer than soft contact lenses.  The cost is higher as they can use for many years.

If you are new to bifocal contact lens, please ask your optometrist in which type of eye contact lenses he or she may recommend for you. Since each lens have to take an adjustment period.  Before visiting your optometrist, you may search around what brand and type of lens before going to meet your optometrist.  You have to decide what you want, daily, monthly or year disposable or conventional contact lense.
